Brussels 07.03.2024 Today the Members of the European Parliament, and general public would have an opportunity of an experience of an Israeli hostage conditions in Hamas captivity in a tunnel replicated in a container.

The experience lasts just a few minutes, but it produces a shocking and traumatic effect on those who entered the six-by-two and a half-metre site. The citizens’ group that planned the event held talks with the association of relatives of hostages in Israel to make it as “authentic as possible” based on the information obtained various sources, including from the Israeli army (IDF).

First what a visitor sees is cramped dirty toilet with Hamas banner above it, and behind the wall next to it a tiny space with the matrass on the floor, where the hostage is kept. The original sound tracks of the massacre of October 7, as well as the screams of victims, gunfire and the impact of bombing raids are to be heard during three minutes of the stay in the container.
Horrid, traumatic, and haunting the images are meant to remind of suffering of the innocent victims, who hope to get liberated from the Hamas hell holes.

A light then reflects portraits of hostages still being held.
According to the organizers two or three Members of the European Parliament visited the container. They did not comment.
After Geneva and Brussels the champaign #BrighThemHome will continue in different cities of the world until all the hostages are liberated.

The International Court of Justice (ICJ) on January 26 issued a verdict, recognizing that Hamas launched the war on Israel by its October 7 attack and called for the “immediate and unconditional release” of all Israeli hostages.
