According to her, the footage from the scene of the terrorist attack does not cause “sadness,” but shock and horror.

“Saddened? Shooting? Is this a сompetition at a shooting range, or what?” the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry wrote on Telegram.

During the terrorist attack in Crocus concert Hall, according to preliminary data, 40 people were killed and more than 100 were injured.

Attack: The first reports of shooting in the concert hall appeared around 20:30 Moscow time. According to eyewitnesses, several armed men in masks and camouflage entered the building through the main entrance, and then opened fire with machine guns on people they met along the way, moving deeper into the building.

At least three of the attackers went to the stalls of the concert hall, where the ‘Picnic’ group was supposed to play. The musicians had not yet started their performance at that time and were in the dressing room. In the hall, unknown persons continued shooting at the spectators and also started a fire.

An unknown number of people were trapped in the building, media reported. Videos of crowds in the building who tried to leave through emergency exits appeared on social networks, but they were locked. According to the concert administration more than six thousand tickets were sold.

“At this time the bell rang and most of the spectators entered the hall. Two groups entered the hall from both sides and opened indiscriminate fire from machine guns and began throwing Molotov cocktails,” eyewitnesses told paramedics.

Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, threatens Ukraine after the shooting that occurred today in the Crocus City Hall concert hall, located 15 kilometers north-east of the center of Moscow.

“If it is confirmed that they are terrorists linked to the Kiev regime, there is no other way but to treat them as such, as well as their ideological supporters. Each of them must be identified and mercilessly neutralized as terrorists, including state officials involved in such criminal acts,” he said  on Telegram.

“Terrorists only understand counterterrorism,” he added. At least 40 people died and 130 were injured in the shooting reported today in the concert hall. According to initial reconstructions, several armed men, apparently at least four, opened fire inside the restaurant.
