Brussels 24.02.2025 An explosion has occurred in Marseille in the garden of Russian Consulate, BFMTV reports. About 30 firefighters and police have left for the scene. Russian Consul General in Marseille Stanislav Oransky confirmed to La Marseillaise medium that the explosion occurred inside the Consulate. There were no casualties. The area has been cordoned off.

The explosion occurred in the 8th arrondissement on February 24 at about 8:00 (about 10:00 Moscow time), BFMTV reports. Unknown persons threw two Molotov cocktails into the garden of the diplomatic mission, a police source said. No further damage was caused.
