Europe united in pursuit of Paris agreement

In Berlin the European leaders declared their intention to unite their efforts to achieve the climate change goals, and free trade at the upcoming G20 summit, but made clear that they have no thoughts of reproaching the  U.S. President Donald Trump who has different opinion n both issues.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel said European countries wished to send a message of “determination” at the summit in Hamburg on July 7-8 but also search “common solutions” with Washington on issues like climate change.

French President Emmanuel Macron said he hoped the US administration would “return to reason” after announcing it would pull out of the Paris climate accord, but added that it did not make sense to isolate Trump, saying Europe shared “a lot” with Washington, including the view that defeating terrorism.
