Salvini refuses smuggled migrants reception

Italian Interior Minister Matteo Salvini has reiterated his refusal to NGO-run illegal migrant-rescue ships to dock.
The League leader was commenting amid concern about 49 asylum seekers saved in the Mediterranean by German NGOs Sea-Watch and Sea Eye who have not been allocated a port of safety amid a standoff.

Pope Francis in vain made an appeal to European leaders to “show concrete solidarity” in this case. Many Italian consider that their good will and hospitality were abused, while the majority of the EU counties did nothing to relocate migrants constantly arriving to Italian coasts from Africa.

Libyan pedophile temporarily banned from EU

After 15 years ban, a Libyan pedophile rapist will be have an opportunity to come back to the European Union, Swedish press explains.

The African who raped a Swedish child says he was looking for someone to rape that day, and he didn’t care if it was a child, news outlet Fria Tider reports.

The 30-year-old Libyan who was charged with a brutal rape of a 9-year-old girl in Malmö earlier this year was sentenced by the District Court for aggravated rape of a child.

The penalty will be six years imprisonment and expulsion, but not for life – after 15 years, the pedophile rapist is welcome back” – Voice of Europe online explains.

He lured the plaintiff into a garbage bin room and locked the door. He wrestled her to the ground, hit her in the face, pulled off her clothes on the lower body and held her legs,  the newspaper continues the description of crime.

He strangled her and inflicted a bruise on her neck so that she felt pain and had difficulty breathing. He further threatened to beat her if she did not stop screaming.”

The man, who in media has been called “the father of young children” has admitted committing the crime.

According to the judgment, the Libyan was in the area “to look for a girl to rape, and he did not care if the girl was a child”. He wanted to have vaginal intercourse with her and therefore told her to “open” her legs during the assault.

The man is a citizen of Libya, but has a permanent residency in Sweden since November 2010.

The Libyan rapist has three underage children in Sweden and has been convicted several times before of violent and predatory crimes without being expelled.

The penalty will be imprisonment for six years and expulsion from the country for 15 years, and payment of  €17,000 in damages to the girl.

The Libyan rapist is also sentenced for minor assault, two cases of sexual harassment, theft, minor drug offences and a knife violation, however non of the mentioned crimes was a reason for the authorities to imitate an expulsionChild road procedure.

Benalla risks trial over diplomatic passports

Disgraced bodyguard of President Emmanuel Macron, Alexandre Benalla admitted he was using his diplomatic passports, “for personal comfort”, and plans to return “in the coming days,” he told the Journal du Dimanche (JDD), while the Paris prosecutor’s office opened investigation.

The #Benalla cases do not just reveal a malfunction, but a denaturing of our Republic. Emmanuel #Macron  has spoiled so much in so little time“, Marine Le Pen wrote in her Twitter micro blog.

“I may have been wrong to use these passports,Alexandre Benalla told the JDD via telephone from abroad.”But I did it only for personal comfort, to facilitate my passage through the airports. In no way did I use them for my business. I do not see where they could have served me”.

Previously Benalla said to another French media that his visit to Chad ahead of the presidential visit was a “coincidence“.

Macron Idriss Deby

Benalla added in the same conversation to the JDD that he had returned the passports to the Élysée’s services at the end of August but then they were  returned to him with other personal belongings in a pocket, in early October, by a “member of the presidency” during an appointment near the presidential palace.

As far as they were returned, I did not see any reason not to use them,” he explains. He claims he did not lie to the Senate inquiry when he said he had left his passports in his former Elysée office.

A few hours earlier, the Paris prosecutor had announced the opening of a preliminary investigation for “breach of trust” and “use without right of a document justifying a professional quality”.

The Paris public prosecutor, Rémy Heitz, has addressed the Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian, after press reports about a trip to Africa by the former aide to the presidency with these passports.

The presidency had pleaded ignorance this week: it said it had “no information from the State services concerned the use by Mr Benalla  of the diplomatic passports that had been awarded to him in the exclusive framework of his services to the President of the Republic

“. “They are  mocking us”, writes French author Oliver Marteau in his Twitter.
“➡️ Any passport can be canceled by the authorities at any time without being physically returned.
➡️ At the 1st crossing of the border the owner of the passport is stopped.
➡️ The authority has knowingly left #Benalla to use these 2 passports” he explains.

French newspaper Le Monde has discovered new details on Benalla voyage to Chad. The former bodyguard of the President Emmanuel Macron arrived to Chad few days ahead of Emmanuel Macron‘s trip.

Benalla travlled  by private plane, stayed in a luxury hotel, and his trip did not pass unnoticed, explains Le Monde. A source in the newspaper said that the former “security adviser” to the President, indicted for “willful violence” arrived accompanied by half a dozen people, by private plane, paying fees by Credit cards”.

Fired from Elysée after the national scandal when disguised as policeman he was beating  demonstrators,  Alexandre Benalla traveled to N’Djamena the beginning of December for a brief stay, before leaving by regular airline on 4 December. He reportedly met the brother of Chad‘s President, Oumar Déby, who leads the country’s Directorate-General for Strategic Reserves (DGRS) in charge of arms purchases, according to La Lettre du Continent. Afterward, a loan of €40 million and a donation of €10 million were granted by the Elysee to Chad  so that the regime can pay the salary of civil servants for the month of December, it was said.

Hundreds of Africans stormed Spanish border

One African illegal migrant died and three others were injured when a crowd of more than 300 people stormed the border fence separating Spanish enclave Melilla from Morocco, the local authorities informed.

Hundreds of illegal migrants managed to scale the seven-meter high metal barrier and were taken to a reception center in Melilla where officials started the process of identifying them.

Malta demands Aquarius to clarify its status

Fifty-eight migrants aboard the #Aquarius NGO rescue vessel will be trasported to Malta and from there to France, Germany, Portugal and Spain, after a deal was reached to share the responsibility for the arrivals among EU member-states.

The migrants will “disembark in international waters”, Maltese Prime Minister Joseph Muscat tweeted from the UN General Assembly in New York.

However he urged Aquarius vessel to clarify its status. Since February 2016 the vessel operates as major transport for NGO SOS Mediterranée and Médicins Sans Frontières (MSF, or Doctors without borders) to search and rescue illegal migrants from African coasts, mainly Libya, assisting their safe sea crossing to  reach European shores.

Panama authorities have begun procedures to revoke the registration of the Aquarius illegal  migrants rescue ship operating in the central Mediterranean. Charities say the Italian government is to blame for the move.

Salvini refueses Aquarius access to Italian ports

Italian Interior  Minister Matteo Salvini said that the NGO migrant search-and-rescue ship Aquarius will not be allowed access to Italy’s ports, ANSA news agency reports.

“Aquarius NGO ship with another 141 immigrants on board: German owned, rented by French NGO, foreign crew, in Maltese waters, flying the flag of Gibraltar,” Salvini wrote in his Twitter microblog.

“It can go where it wants, but not to Italy! Stop human being traffickers and accomplices, #portsclosed and #openhearts”.

Salvini, the leader of the League party, has been promoting the new Italian government’s tough stance on illegal migration which was seen NGO search-and-reascue vessels denied access to Italy’s ports. The Aquarius, rented by the SOS Mediterranee NGO and managed in partnership with Doctors Without Borders (MSF), was at the centre of international dispute in June when Italy and Malta both refused to lot it dock.

Migrants indignant about conditions in Italy

Migrant laborers staged a strike this week to protest at the deaths of 16 colleagues killed this week in two separate traffic accidents in southern Italy.

Thousands of migrants work in the southern heel of Italy during the summer months, harvesting tomatoes.

They are paid  3 euros an hour, the amount that corresponds to a salary of 500 euro a month for 20 working days (Italy average salary 1700 euro).

More than 200 migrants marched on Foggia from their camp, known as the “Great Ghetto”, some 10 km (6 miles) away.

“No to slavery,” they chanted as they walked along country roads under a fierce summer sun.

Twelve migrants died on Monday 6 August as they traveled home after a day in the fields, with their packed van smashing head-on into an on-coming lorry.

Two days earlier, four migrants died in a near identical accident. Both crashes happened close to the city of Foggia, near the Adriatic coast.

There were no comments of Italian officials on road accidents causing indignation of migrants. Police investigation announcements were not made either.
