#Limburg: migrant decapitates wife publically

In province of Limburg, Germany, a resident of Tunisian origin decapitated his wife in the street in broad deadlight. German police has issued a statement, prohibiting to post in social media or elsewhere the murder VIDEO.

Reportedly the Tunisian has “refugee“status or is claiming it. According to reports he has committed the murder in the street, first riding over his wife with a car, and then chopping her head off with an ax, he took from of the car. German left politicians insist the savage crime has nothing to do with Muslim religion, but is a case of “uxoricide“, regarding the act of barbaric #Libmurg murder as man-woman relationship drama.

The decapitation of a women by the Tunisianrefugee” happened in a context of the growing security concerns of the Europeans, facing influx of migrants from Africa. According to the World Bank 500 million of Africans have no birth certificate, and subsequently it is impossible to establish their identities. After the overthrow of the Libyan leader Colonel Gaddafi, the terrorist threat from radical Islam in Maghreb has risen, and grown 300 percent in the last five years.

The #Limburg décapitation of the woman by her Tunisian husband causes grave concerns of Europeans, recognising in the method of murder the barbarism of Islamic state terrorists. The social media, in contract to German state media does not shy away from legitimate questions on the curriculum of the assailant, and threat he represented to the community, hosting him.

On contract to the German indiscriminate migrant policy, receiving two million migrants (2015), the European Parliament this week rejected the resolution on Mediterranean Sea rescue.

This month the European Parliament  has rejected a plan to organise search and rescue operations for migrants in the Mediterranean, and re-locate them across the EU member-states.

The Motion for resolution was narrowly defeated by 290 votes against to 288 MEPs in favour.

The document called on member states to step up efforts to rescue migrants crossing the Mediterranean Sea with intention to settle in Europe.

Sri Lanka counter terrorist operation ongoing

The blasts in Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday April 21 killed at least 290 people and left hundreds more injured. Search and rescue, victim identification have been carried out along with a counter-terrorist operation. The US Embassy in Colombo launched an ALERT, asking everyone to “remain vigilant, and report any suspicious activity to authorities immediately”.

  • There were six suicide bombers involved in the explosions. So far, 24 suspects have been arrested in connection to the attacks.
  • The FBI and Interpol are among the global agencies who are stepping in to assist the investigation.
  • The Sri Lanka government may have had information about the attacks prior to the bombings. A minister claimed that US and Indian governments had warned of “something terrible,” but it’s unclear if any action was taken.
  • More victims’ names and faces are emerging, among them 30 foreigners.

EU offers condolences to Sri Lanka

“A series of coordinated attacks hit churches and hotels in Sri Lanka this morning, causing extreme devastation. With men, women and children, from all walks of life and from different nationalities among the victims, this is a truly sad day for the country and for the world” says the statement of the EU top diplomat Federcia Mogherini.

“The European Union offers its most sincere condolences to the families and friends of those who have been killed and wishes a speedy recovery to the many wounded.
“Easter Sunday is a special moment for Christians around the world. It is a time to give thanks, for remembrance, celebration, and peaceful prayer. Such acts of violence on this Holy Day are acts of violence against all beliefs and denominations, and against all those who value the freedom of religion and the choice to worship.
“The European Union stands in solidarity with the people of Sri Lanka and the Sri Lankan authorities at this difficult time. The European Union is also ready to offer support.”

AFP news agency reports that Sri Lanka‘s police chief Pujuth Jayasundara issued an intelligence alert to top officers 10 days ago, warning that suicide bombers planned to hit “prominent churches“.

A foreign intelligence agency has reported that the NTJ (National Thowheeth Jama’ath) is planning to carry out suicide attacks targeting prominent churches as well as the Indian high commission in Colombo,” the alert said.

The NTJ is Sri Lanka radical Muslim group that was linked last year to the vandalism of Buddhist statues.

ALERT! Utrecht terrorist incident

National Coordinator for Counter-terrorism and Security, Pieter-Jaap Aalbersberg, said that the shooting incident in  #Utrecht has all the characteristics of a terrorist attack. The threat level for the province of Utrecht has been raised to 5, the highest level in the Netherlands.

Mr.Aalbersberg is currently assuming one suspect, but does not exclude the possibility that there are more perpetrators. He did not want to say anything about the situation of the victims during the press conference. There is a massive search for the shooter.

A tram was fired this morning at 24 Octoberplein in Utrecht. There are several wounded, possibly one dead, the police say.

The municipality of Utrecht has therefore advised residents to stay indoors.

Mr.Aalbersberg said at a scheduled press conference that there has been a shooting at various locations. Earlier, the police had said that shooting was taking place in one place.

Searching for the perpetrator is a risky operation, Mr.Aalbersberg said. “The emergency services can now use all their energy to perform their task. That is why the threat level in Utrecht has been increased.” Raising the threat level is also intended to alert citizens.

#Christchurch: EU expresses solidarity

The European Union expresses its sincere condolences to the families and friends of the victims of the two terrorist attacks that took place in Christchurch, New Zealand, earlier today. We stand in full solidarity with the people and authorities of New Zealand at this extremely difficult time and stand ready to support in any way, including by strengthening our cooperation on counter-terrorism.

“Attacks on places of worship are attacks on all of us who value diversity and freedom of religion and expression, which are the fabric of New Zealand’s society and shared by the European Union. Such acts strengthen our resolve to tackle, together with the whole international community, the global challenges of terrorism, extremism and hatred.”

Europe outlaws sharia

The resolution was passed at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, which meets four times a year to set the agenda of the international assembly. The parliamentarians noted with ‘great concern‘ that three member states, Albania, Azerbaijan and Turkey, have endorsed explicitly or implicitly, the 1990 Cairo Declaration on Human Rights in Islam.

Moreover the assembly is  ‘greatly concerned‘ about the fact that sharia, including provisions that contravene the European Convention on Human Rights, is applied either officially or unofficially in member states.

In the UK, ‘sharia councils attempt to provide a form of alternative dispute resolution, whereby members of the Muslim community, sometimes voluntarily, often under considerable social pressure, accept their religious jurisdiction mainly in marital and Islamic divorce issues, but also in matters relating to inheritance and Islamic commercial contracts,‘ the resolution states.

The body that oversees the European Convention on Human Rights has named the UK – along with Albania, Azerbaijan and Turkey – in a hard-hitting resolution highlighting conflicts between sharia law and universal human rights. A measure adopted last night by the 47-nation Council of Europe raises concerns about the role of sharia councils in family, inheritence and commercial law.

Rulings of sharia councils ‘clearly discriminate against women in divorce and inheritance cases’, the resolution states. It calls on the UK to make it a legal requirement for Muslim couples to register their marriages civilly before or at the same time as their religious ceremony.

The Assembly welcomes recommendations put forward in last year’s independent report into the application of sharia in England and Wales and calls on the UK to ensure councils operate within the law ‘especially as it relates to the prohibition of discrimination against women, and respect all procedural rights‘.

It sets a deadline of June 2020 for the UK to report back on reviewing the Marriage Act to make it a legal requirement for Muslim couples to register their marriages civically, as is required for Christian and Jewish marriages.

Taliban announced a few days cease-fire

Taliban militants have announced cease-fire with the government forces for three days to mark the Muslim holiday of Eid in Afghanistan. Foreign military in Afghanistan are excluded from the truce.

The announcement come in response to Afghan President Ashraf Ghani on Thursday (706/2018) declared his own unconditional, week-long ceasefire against the Taliban, but not against other militant groups. The armistice will cover the Eid celebrations at the end of the fasting month of Ramadan, which comes next Thursday.

Ghani’s ceasefire comes after the recommendation from a group of Islamic clerics, and it will last until June 20. The Taliban have not specified the dates of their pause.
